Blackwater West

International Samuel Exploration Corp. announced on April 26th, 2010 that it had purchased a 100-per-cent interest in 11 mineral claims totalling 5,331 hectares approximately 150 kilometres south of Vanderhoof, B.C. These news claims are located just to the west of Richfield Ventures ‘Blackwater’ bulk gold target located on the Nechako Plateau in central British Columbia. These new claims are called the ‘Blackwater’ West claims. See Map.

Richfield Ventures announced on January 5, 2010 an intersection in diamond drill hole 59 of 329 metres of 1.25 g/t gold. Earlier results included 148 metres of 1.26 g/t gold. Richfield Ventures has released several other significant intersections in their 2009 exploration program.

In April 2010 Richfield Ventures reentered hole 59 and announced that they are now down over 500 metres and the rock continues to be consistent with the first 329  metres.

The recently acquired claims are located approximately four kilometres directly west and southwest of Richfield’s discovery zone.  Using public data from the Geological Survey of Canada the Company has identified an airborne magnetic high anomaly trending northwest from the Richfield discovery onto the new claims. 

The Company will announce an upcoming work program for the 2010 exploration season.
