Reed Lake Exploration Update-Permit Applications
Januray 7th, 2009: Vancouver, British Columbia: International Samuel Corp. (SAZ: TSX-V) ("Company") and it joint-venture partner Canasia Industries Corporation has received the final interpretation of the Reed Lake 3,306-line-kilometre VTEM data from Condor Consulting on the Reed Lake claims in Manitoba.
The preliminary interpretation identified eight separate areas that represent VTEM anomalies on the property. The eight areas underwent a detailed interpretation in an effort to identify outlining structures, favorable geology and zones of alteration. The detailed analysis has indicted that there are over 20 high priority targets on the property. The Company has applied for ground geophysical permits with the Manitoba Government. The permit application is for two grids totaling 24 line kilometres.
The property is strategically located around the VMS Ventures Inc. base-metal discovery in the historic and very prolific Flin Flon mining camp, with more than 27 significant mineral deposits continuously discovered over the past 75 years. The most recent discovery is HudBay's Lalor Lake property, with 20 million tonnes of 8.8 per cent zinc.
